The Abode app is available for Apple TV and Android TV devices. It lets you watch live streams from multiple cameras simultaneously, view your event timeline, manage devices, and trigger Quick Actions using your TV remote.

Setting up the TV app
1. Open the app store on your TV device (App Store for Apple TV, Play Store for Android TV).
2. Search for Abode Security and install the app.
3. Open the app and sign in to your Abode account.
4. Set up your disarm PIN when prompted. This PIN is only used to disarm the system from the TV app.
! | NOTE Your disarm PIN is required each time you sign in to the TV app. If you sign out of the account, you will need to set it up again on next login. |
What you can do from the TV app
• Arm and disarm the system during an active alarm
• View your event Timeline and watch recorded clips
• Interact with compatible devices including locks and power switches
• Check sensor status for environmental, door and window, and motion sensors
• Live stream up to 3 cameras simultaneously in Multi View
• Trigger Quick Actions
• See real-time events while viewing a live stream, such as door openings
What is not available on the TV app
• Changing your active plan
• Creating or editing automations
• Adding or removing devices
• Accessing account or system settings
• Managing integrations or monitoring settings
• Managing linked users

Setting up Multi View camera streaming
1. Navigate to Grid View in the app.
2. Using your remote, highlight a camera tile and press the select button to add or remove cameras from the grid.
3. You can also reorder cameras, mute or unmute audio, and change the number of cameras shown.
! | NOTE The Video Doorbell cannot be added to Grid View as this would drain its battery rapidly. |
