Managing multiple accounts in the Abode app

Monitoring and controlling more than one Abode system from a single app

If you have more than one Abode system, such as a home and an office, you can manage both from a single Abode app without needing to log in and out. All users, including those who have been invited to an account rather than being the owner, can use this feature.

Adding a second account

1. Open the Abode app and tap the Menu icon.

2. Tap your name to open your Profile.

3. Tap Account.

4. Tap Add Account and follow the prompts to link the additional Abode account.

Switching between accounts

1. Open your Profile in the Abode app.

2. Tap the account name you want to switch to.

Both accounts stay active in the background. You can switch between them at any time without logging out.

Notifications for multiple accounts

You will receive notifications for all linked accounts in the same app. Notification preferences can be customized for each account separately under the settings menu.

Troubleshooting

Cannot add an account

• Check that the account you are trying to add has granted you the appropriate access permissions

• Make sure your Abode app is updated to the latest version

• If the issue continues, contact support@goabode.com for assistance
