What has changed
Abode previously offered an integration with Bose that allowed your Abode system and Bose speakers or sound system to work together. As of March 2026, this integration is no longer supported.
• The Bose integration will be removed from the Abode app
• Existing connections between Abode and Bose will no longer function
• It is not possible to create a new Bose integration
What this means for you
Your Abode security system itself is not affected by this change. All Abode devices, sensors, cameras, and plans continue to work exactly as before. Only the connection to Bose has been discontinued.
If you previously used the Bose integration to trigger sounds or notifications through your Bose system, that functionality will no longer be available through Abode.
Alternatives
Abode continues to support a range of integrations for smart home control and audio notifications. The following integrations remain fully active:
• Amazon Alexa — voice control and smart home routines
• Google Assistant — voice control and automation
• Apple HomeKit — integration with the Apple Home app and Siri
• Sonos — play sounds and announcements through your Sonos speaker system
• CUE Automations — create your own rules and actions within the Abode app
