Usage Guide

Once paired, your Sonos speaker can be used as an action in CUE Automations. You can add more than one action per automation. Examples:

• When Front Door Abode Cam 2 detects motion: play Doorbell Chime Sound.

• When there is a burglar alarm and Jane's iPhone is not at home: play Dog Barking sound effect.

• Every day at sunrise: play Wakeup Playlist.

FAQ

Will these automations run if my system loses internet connection?

Yes. Automations run locally so they will continue to run even when your hub is offline.

What sounds can I have my Sonos play?

Any sounds available in your Sonos library within Playlists and Favorites are accessible as part of your Abode automations.

Do you have any recommendations for sound effects?

Yes. On Apple Music, the "300 Sound Effects" playlist is a good starting point. On Spotify, search for "Sound FX Albums."
