The 24/7 Video Recording plan is an add-on that keeps all of your Abode cameras recording continuously, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You get 10 days of stored footage to review and download clips from, plus a video timeline that makes it easy to jump to exactly the moment you are looking for.
It is available as an add-on to either the Standard Plan or the Pro Plan. One subscription covers all cameras on your Abode account.

How 24/7 recording differs from standard clip recording
Standard clip recording captures short video clips when motion is detected, followed by a 90-second cooldown before the camera is ready to record again. Constant movement in the frame, such as a tree swaying, can prevent new clips from being recorded.
With 24/7 Video Recording, none of that applies. The camera records continuously regardless of motion events, cooldown periods, or detection zone settings. You will always have footage of every moment within the 10-day window.

Adding 24/7 Video Recording to your account
Before you begin, make sure you are subscribed to an active Standard or Pro plan. Then follow these steps:
1. In the Abode app, tap the Menu icon.
2. Tap your name to open your Profile.
3. Tap "Plan Details".
4. On the plans management page, find "24/7 Video Recording" under Available Add-Ons and subscribe.
5. Once your subscription is active, return to the Abode app to enable 24/7 recording on your cameras.

Enabling 24/7 recording on your cameras
After subscribing, you can enable 24/7 recording on all of your cameras or just the ones that matter most. Here is how to configure it:
1. In the Abode app, tap the Menu icon.
2. Tap "System Settings".
3. Tap "24/7 Video Recording".
4. Toggle 24/7 Video Recording on or off for each camera individually as needed.

Reviewing and downloading footage
Once 24/7 recording is active, access your stored footage through the Abode app:
• Open the Abode app and go to the Devices tab
• Tap your camera to open the live view
• Use the video timeline at the bottom of the screen to scrub through your 10-day recording history
• Tap any point on the timeline to jump to that moment
• Use the clip save or download button to save any segment to your device
