Abode is one of the only home security providers to offer cloud-based 24/7 video recording. 24/7 Video Recording gives you access to 10 days of continuous video to review and download clips from, plus a video timeline that makes finding the exact point-in-time you're looking for a breeze. The plan is offered as an add-on and requires either the Standard Plan or Pro Plan first. Only one subscription is required for all of the cameras on your Abode account.
Purchasing 24/7 Video Recording
To enable access to 24/7 video on your Abode App, you need to first ensure that you are subscribed to an Abode plan (Standard or Pro). Once done, you can add-on 24/7 access in the Abode app. Follow the below steps to do so:
In the Abode App on your iOS or Android device, select the Menu (≡).
Tap your name to open your Profile.
Tap "Plan Details".
The plans management page will now show. You can subscribe to the 24/7 Video Recording add-on listed under Available Add-Ons.
Once the subscription is active you can go back to the Abode App to enable 24/7 on your cameras.
Enable 24/7 Video Recording for Each Camera
You can enable 24/7 Video Recording on all of your cameras, or just select cameras. Adjust which of your cameras have 24/7 enabled in the Abode App by follow these steps:
In the Abode App on your iOS or Android device, select the Menu (≡).
Tap "System Settings".
Tap "24/7 Video Recording".
4. Toggle 24/7 Video Recording on or off for each camera as desired.
