You can now integrate your Ecobee thermostat with your Abode system. Integrating the two will allow you to manually control your Ecobee thermostat from the Abode App and allow you to create CUE Automations to control your thermostat based on other events in the your Abode smart home. For example, you can have your Ecobee temperature automatically set to 70 degrees when your front door (enabled with an Abode door sensor) is opened after 3pm, or you could have your Ecobee temperature automatically enter an "away" schedule to reduce heating/cooling costs when your Abode system is armed to Away mode.

Setup Guide

  1. In the Abode App on your Apple or Android device, select the Menu (≡).

  2. Tap "Integrations".

  3. Tap "Ecobee".

  4. Tap "Connect to Ecobee" to be directed to your Ecobee account.

  5. You will be asked to sign in to your Ecobee account with your username and password. Follow the setup guide to pair your Ecobee device to Abode.

  6. You can now control your Ecobee thermostat from the Devices tab of the Abode App, and use your Ecobee device as actions in your CUE automations. Read Useage Guide below to learn more about how to use your Ecobee thermostat with CUE Automations.

Usage Guide

Now that your Ecobee thermostat is paired to your Abode system it can be used to create smart automations to make your daily routines more convenient. Under the Devices tab (from the bottom tray of the Abode App) the current temperature can be viewed and set, but for a truly hands-free setup your thermostat can be paired with other devices and CUE Automations.
