Do I need the Single Camera Plan to use cameras?
No, you do not need the Single Camera Plan to use Abode Cameras. Without a plan you will be limited to viewing live footage only. Adding a plan will enable recorded clips, Smart Detect and more.
If I have other devices, will I get notifications and timeline entries for those deives as well as the Camera I nominate?
You will only receive detailed notifications for the nominated camera - all other devices will receive generic notifications, and will not populate an entry to the timeline.
Can I activate the Single Camera Plan on any Abode Hub?
Yes.
Does the Single Camera Plan allow access to CUE Automations?
No.
Can I use the Single Camera Plan to get notifications on other non-camera devices?
No.
How much does the Single Camera Plan Cost?
The Single Camera Plan is $3.99 per month, or $34.99 annually.
What if I want to add more than 1 camera to my Single Camera Plan?
You can have multiple cameras added to your platform, however only 1 camera at any one time can be selected to record clips, record entries to the timeline, and have detailed notifications. To switch the active camera, navigate to the "Manage Camera Subscription" option in the Profile menu. Please be aware that adjustments to the camera subscription can only be made once every 24 hours.
How does billing work?
Billing is done on either a monthly or annual basis. Opting for an annual plan provides cost savings compared to monthly billing.
Can I use 24/7 Video Recording with the Single Camera Plan?
No, the Single Camera Plan does not include 24/7 Video Recording, however 24/7 Video Recording plan can be enabled as an add-on to the Single Camera Plan. You can learn more here.
Can I take advantage of integrations without a plan?
Yes, you can. All of our integrations like HomeKit, Alexa, Google Assistant, Sonos, and more are available without a plan totally free.
