Setting up your Security Hub

1. Remove the Hub from the box and place it near your internet router.

2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet and connect it to the Hub.

3. Connect the Ethernet cable from an open port on your router to the Hub. Ethernet is required for initial setup only.

4. On the back of the Hub, slide the battery backup switch down to the ON position.

5. Open the Abode app and follow the on-screen setup process. Enter your Activation Key when prompted.

TIP

Place the Hub in a central location in your home for the best wireless range to all your sensors. Since the Hub does not need to be accessed regularly, it can sit inside a media cabinet or closet. Just ensure the battery backup switch is ON before tucking it away.
