Your Abode Hub uses LED lights to communicate its current status. This guide covers both the Iota Hub and the Security Hub so you always know exactly what your system is doing.

What a steady orange LED means

An orange LED on the Security Hub indicates a fault. Here are the most common causes:

• Internet connection is down. An offline event will appear in the app Timeline

• Hub battery is low or the battery switch is in the OFF position

• One of your devices has a low battery. Check the app Timeline for details

• A device has lost wireless communication with the Hub. Look for an offline or device missing event in the Timeline

TIP

Open the Abode app and check the Timeline whenever you see an orange LED. The fault will be described there with the information you need to resolve it.
