Indoor Siren

Adding a loud 95dB indoor alarm to your Abode system

Written by Alex S

The Abode Indoor Siren plugs into any standard indoor power outlet and sounds a 95dB alarm whenever your system is triggered. It runs on AC power with a rechargeable battery backup, so it stays operational even if power is interrupted.

4. Plug the Indoor Siren into a power outlet. It will emit 2 short beeps and the LED will flash twice to confirm it is powered on.

5. Press and hold the Function button for 10 seconds until the LED begins to flash. This sends the pairing signal to your Hub.

6. When pairing is successful, the siren will appear in your device list and emit 2 beeps to confirm. Name the siren and tap Add to complete.

TIP

After pairing, check the Abode app device list to confirm the siren is showing as connected. If you don't see it, try the troubleshooting steps below.

How the alarm works

• When an alarm is triggered, the siren activates and the LED flashes continuously

• The siren sounds for a maximum of 3 minutes, then stops automatically

• Disarming your system via the app will silence the siren immediately

Troubleshooting

Siren did not pair with Hub

1. Unplug the siren from the wall outlet.

2. Make sure your Hub is in Pairing Mode via Add Device in the app.

3. Press the Function button 4 times.

4. Plug the siren back into the wall. It should appear in the pairing screen.

5. Add the siren and name it to complete.
