Change Your Abode Plan

All of the Abode paid subscriptions auto-renew on their anniversary date. If you have a monthly subscription, it renews each month on the start date. If you have an annual subscription, it renews each year on the start date. You can change subscription at any time, but please note Abode does not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months or years.


Add a Plan to Your Abode System

If you have an Abode device or system with no subscription plan you can easily subscribe to a plan in the Abode App.

  1. In the Abode App on your iOS or Android device, select the Menu (≡).

  2. Tap your name to open your Profile.

  3. Tap Plan Details.

  4. The plans management page will now show. You can also use this page view our plans and subscribe.

Change Your Abode Plan

This process varies depending on where and when your plan was initially purchased.


If you are charged directly by Abode for your subscription please select the first option below. If you are charged by Apple or Google for your Abode subscription please select the appropriate second or third option below.

Manage your subscription billed through Abode


If you purchased your subscription when you purchased your devices at goabode.com, on the Abode Web App then your subscription is billed through Abode. Follow these steps to change or cancel your subscription:

1. In the Abode App on your iOS or Android device, select the Menu (≡).
2. Tap your name to open your Profile.

4. The plans management page will now show. You can also use this page to mange your plan by upgrading or downgraded as needed.

Manage your subscription billed through Apple


If you started your subscription using the Abode App on your iPhone or iPad then your subscription is billed through Apple. Follow these steps to change or cancel your subscription:

1. In the Abode App on your iOS device, select the Menu (≡).
2. Tap your name to open your Profile.

Manage your subscription billed through Google


If you started your subscription using the Abode App on your Android device then your subscription is billed through Google. Follow these steps to change or cancel your subscription:

1. In the Abode App on your Android device, select the Menu (≡).
2. Tap your name to open your Profile.
3. Tap Plan Details.
4. The plans management page will now show. You can also use this page to mange your plan by upgrading or downgraded as needed.

Upgrade Example

You have a Standard Plan (monthly) billed at $6.99/month and would like to upgrade to Pro Plan (monthly) billed at $24.99/month. Your subscription renews on the first of each month and today is the 15th. When you upgrade in-app to the Pro Plan, your cost to upgrade for the first month will include the pro-rated remaining balance towards your upgraded plan ($3.50) so that your new charge to upgrade for the first month is $21.49. The next billing cycle will be at the full amount of the Pro Plan.
