Integrating your LIFX bulbs with Abode allows them to be controlled from the Abode app as well as through CUE Automations. For example: create a CUE automation that automatically turns your living room LIFX bulbs to warm white at 50% brightness every day at sunset.
Setup Guide
! | NOTE The LIFX integration uses local network discovery. Your LIFX bulb and your Abode hub must be on the same Wi-Fi network. If they are on different networks, the connection will fail. |
1. Follow the instructions included with your LIFX bulb to add it to your home Wi-Fi network using the LIFX app.
2. In the Abode app, tap the Menu icon.
3. Tap "Add Device."
4. Under Other, tap "Third Party Devices."
5. Make sure your LIFX bulb is turned on.
6. Within a few seconds, "RGB Dimmer" will appear in the Add Devices dialog.
7. Tap "Add" next to the device and complete the setup guide. If you have more than one bulb, each must be paired individually.
Usage Guide
With your LIFX bulb paired to Abode, you can turn it on and off, dim it, and change its color from the Devices tab. For a fully hands-free setup, pair your bulbs with other Abode devices and CUE Automations.
